SCI holds its annual meeting

Sharjah 24: Under the chairmanship of Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Sharjah Charity International (SCI) held its annual meeting.
This came in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, Executive Director, and heads of departments, in Al Dhaid, to discuss the new changes that coincide with SCI plan to advance charitable and humanitarian work and to enhance public satisfaction and aspirations.

Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi extended his deepest thanks to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for His Highess's continued support for the charitable work, which had a great impact on SCI position in the UAE and abroad.  

Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi welcomed all attendees, and praised the efforts of SCI employees, volunteers, and affiliates being the reason of its success to achieve its goals. He also appreciated the support of benefactors, stressing that the contributions made by donors, over the past years, have made SCI a beacon of humanitarian work.

During the meeting, the attendees reviewed achievements made over the past year, and agreed that charitable work saw an unprecedented boom in terms of the number and type of projects.  

The meeting reviewed the plan for the new year 2024, and pointed out the sub-plans developed by the departments with new targets and initiatives that will be a major support for charitable work and will thus be reflected on SCI generous benefactors and beneficiaries

During the meeting, focus was also placed on the Ramadan campaign. 

On the sidelines of the meeting, Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi received 6 certificates of international specifications for the governance system, indicating SCI interest in developing charitable and humanitarian work.

Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi congratulated SCI officials and work teams for the success that had been achieved, and he also extended his sincere thanks to all the partners and supporters for their role in SCI achieving its charitable endeavours and vision.
