Sharjah 24: The Iraqi national team sealed a 3-2 win over Indonesia, qualifying as leaders in the fourth group of the Asian Football Cup, raising its score to 9 points with a full mark, while the Japanese national team qualified for the same round.
Japan qualified for the round of 16 of the Asian Football Cup by defeating Indonesia 3-1, today, Wednesday, in the third and final round of the group stage in Doha.
Iraq, which was among the leaders in the second round, also achieved the full mark in the fourth group, by defeating Vietnam 3-2.
Iraq topped the group with 9 points, against 6 for Japan and 3 for Indonesia.
