Sharjah 24: The Syrian national football team qualified for the round 16 of the Asian Cup for the first time in its history after defeating India 1-0 today, Tuesday, in the third round match of the second group of the Asian Cup at Al-Bayt Stadium in Doha.
With this result, Syria raised their score to 4 points, one point behind Uzbekistan, which tied today with Australia 1-1 in the same group.
