Sharjah 24: During the month of January, Sharjah Radio introduces a variety of exciting programmes that take listeners on a unique journey. Sharjah radio programmes include technology, project management, culture and heritage, as part of its media mission aimed at serving its broad and diverse audience.
Our digital lives

From digital devices and their applications to smart homes, smart cars and smart schools, the “Our Digital Life” programme targets technology and smart devices fans. The programme aims to provide useful technical information to all users of smart devices. The topics covered by the programme vary between modern technology news, tips on using smart devices effectively, and reviews of the latest devices and applications, as it seeks to enable listeners to make the most of the rapidly developing world of technology. The programme is considered a valuable source of technical information and an opportunity for Sharjah Radio listeners to communicate with the world of technology. The 50-minute programme comes in an interesting dialogue, every Monday, and is prepared and presented by two expert engineers, Mohamed Bushalibi and Omar Al Muhairi.

Emirates Library
The "Emirates Library" programme provides short and concise reading of the content of the Emirati library, which includes a wide range of fields such as history, literature, heritage, and art. Despite the short duration of the programme, which lasts only 5 minutes, it represents abundant information and represents a wonderful opportunity to explore the Emirati library. The Emirates Library is considered a valuable addition to the cultural programmes broadcast on Sharjah Radio. The programme is prepared and presented by popular heritage researcher Fahd Al Maamari.

Make a statement and enhance your elegance

A programme that shows the beauty of the Arabic language; clarifies its importance and eloquence; lists what was said about it and what was mentioned of its virtues; and what is unique about it. The programme presents a unique overview of the beautiful style of the Arabic language, its diverse vocabulary, connotations, use in poetry, and its development. The programme is prepared and presented by Ms. Hamda Al Awadi.

Educational gleams

The “Educational gleams” programme focuses on educational issues and student development, within the framework of achieving the UAE priorities in improving the educational sector, as it addresses important topics related to the education system and effective care for students and teachers. The programme, prepared by Sheikha bin Khamis and presented by Dr. Aisha Al Yamahi, discusses the challenges facing the educational system and proposing innovative solutions to improve it. It also gives listeners the opportunity to listen to inspiring ideas and valuable educational information, which contributes to raising educational awareness and enhancing the quality of the educational process and development.

Sharjah Radio continues to meet the needs of entrepreneurs and those interested in the field of trade, through its programme “Project Management,” which provides a set of advice and guidance for those wishing to enter the wide world of trade, and is considered a valuable guide for traders and entrepreneurs. Fawzia Al Otaiba, a certified trainer in the field of entrepreneurship, presents successful experiences and lessons learned from different projects, which helps listeners understand and effectively deal with the challenges of project management.

Heritage encyclopaedia 

“Heritage Encyclopaedia” is a diverse cultural programme that seeks to revive heritage vocabulary through “Ramsatna” (Emirati dialect), popular proverbs, and Emirati folk games. It also sheds light on ancient Sharjah landmarks and history, and contributes to preserving the rich and rooted heritage to be an ideal platform for documenting and transmitting heritage to future generations. The program is prepared and presented by Maryam Al Ajel.

Amal Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Director of Sharjah Radio, stressed the importance of diversifying the programme network, which combines education, awareness and entertainment while highlighting the latest developments in the field of technology without neglecting the topics of heritage and history. 

Al Owais stated that she hopes that Sharjah Radio’s programmes, during the month of January, will be a source of inspiration for listeners and reflect the commitment of the Sharjah Broadcast Authority (SBA) to provide distinguished media content.
