At the beginning, Colonel Ali Saif Al Dhabahi, Acting Director of the Police Research Centre at Sharjah Police, spoke about Sharjah Police’s participation in SIBF, through a variety of publications, lectures, and seminars, to raise security awareness and culture among members of society, stressing that the diversity of books and magazines, and the message sent by Sharjah Police aims to meet all community members’ interest in providing educational knowledge suitable for different age groups.
Colonel Mohammed Saeed Al Dhahouri, Head of the Public Relations Department at the Department of Information and Public Relations, also spoke about visitors’ interest in security publications, pointing out that SIBF represents an important platform for communicating with the public and educating them. The Department of Information and Public Relations also participated with “The Policeman” and “The Little Policeman” magazines, which cover a number of security and social topics.
Colonel Dr. Bassem Al Naqbi, Head of the Department of Education and Postgraduate Studies at the Sharjah Police Sciences Academy (SPSA), discussed SPSA participation through publications on social issues and challenges, and their impact on the production of security books, which raises awareness on security and law.
