The Best Initiator of Volunteering Opportunities Award, the Distinguished Supporter Award for Voluntary Work, and the Best Voluntary Initiative Award are all available to government entities.
Government agencies that establish innovative and successful volunteer activities for the community are eligible for the 'Best Initiator of Volunteering Opportunities Award'. The possibilities should be within the scope of the institution, linked to goals, and endure for at least one year. Volunteers, supporters, and sponsors should all be involved in the execution.
The 'Distinguished Supporter Award for Volunteer Work' is given to government entities that provide financial, knowledge-based, or policy assistance to volunteer work programmes.
Volunteerism, programme aims, and corporate social responsibility should all benefit from assistance. Funding for volunteer initiatives and opportunities should replace donations and zakat.
The 'Best Voluntary Initiative Award' is given to any government entity that launches voluntary action to tackle social problems, support sustainable development projects, or increase community living standards. The endeavour must be one-of-a-kind, undertaken personally or collaboratively, non-official, and produce clear, significant outcomes within the participation year.
According to Fatima Musa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, the award encourages government agencies to be creative and original in their voluntary initiatives. She encourages institutions to participate, highlighting the government's responsibility for fostering new volunteer initiatives that benefit society.
