The meeting was held at the Council’s headquarters in the presence of the Council’s Chairman, Suleiman bin Jumuah Al Yahyai, and the Council’s Vice-Chairman, along with Council members and representatives of the community.
Health councils aim to facilitate direct communication with customers and listen to their opinions and suggestions about improving and developing the health services provided by Emirates Health Services (EHS).
The meeting was held within the framework of effective interaction between local authorities and the community to ensure that customers’ needs are met and the quality of health services in general is improved.
Suleiman bin Jumuah Al Yahyai stated the council places community interaction at the heart of its concerns, and this meeting reflects the council’s commitment to cooperation and establishing a partnership to represent the community with service providers, the forefront of which is health services. Al Yahyai added that the council sought through the initiatove to improve health services and ensure continuity of direct communication with customers to understand their needs and provide the necessary support.
The Health Council highlighted improving health infrastructure and developing services in line with societal aspirations and needs.
It is noteworthy that coordination was made with the Prime Minister's Office to share the results and proposals of customer councils with the aim of enhancing transparency and achieving continuous improvement.
