Sharjah 24: In line of its keenness to enhance communication with its employees, in a happy work environment, Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) organised the “Employee Forum”, at the Mleiha Archaeological Centre.
The forum aimed at consolidating relations between employees and senior management, which is keen to provide support to employees and constantly to adopt best practices that support SEWA vision towards excellence in providing services, digital transformation, and enhancing job loyalty and institutional affiliation for the authority’s employees.
Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Shamsi, Director General of SEWA, confirmed to employees that the Authority is keen to develop employees capabilities, enhance the culture of cooperation and interdependence among employees, and honour the distinguished who played a major role in the development of the Authority.
He explained that SEWA, with the support and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is keen to enhance the work environment and consolidate excellence among employees, and this forum comes as one of the important programmes that encourages cooperation and team work within a climate and framework of creativity and innovation to move forward into the future.
Al Shamsi said that SEWA is always working to identify employees requirements, implement initiatives, and find effective communication channels between all levels and departments to enhance job satisfaction, improve the quality of performance, reach efficiency to its best levels, empower and develop human resources, and benefit from modern technologies and digital transformation to provide services that keep pace with aspirations and interest.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Al Shamsi honoured a number of distinguished employees.
