Sharjah 24: The twelfth edition of the Dawahi Festival has kicked off, organised by the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department and scheduled to run until December 29th at Al Qarayen 4 Park.
This festival aligns with the department's yearly initiatives to boost social and cultural life in regions, neighbourhoods, and suburbs.
More than 50 entities are participating in this edition, comprising 50 producer families, 39 restaurants and food trucks, and 7 cafes.
The Sharjah Foundation to Support Pioneering Entrepreneurs (RUWAD) is also partaking with 20 carts labeled "Business Stars" in the student category.
These initiatives showcase diversity and innovation, aiming to provide a distinctive experience for visitors while fostering community spirit and entertainment in suburban areas.
The festival features interactive games, such as a maze game encouraging visitors to navigate challenging mazes filled with puzzles, and giant bowling balls offering a unique and enjoyable opportunity for visitors to enhance their bowling skills.
For children, there is a dedicated entertainment area called "Made in Sharjah," which includes an educational cooking workshop allowing children to enjoy food preparation and learn the fundamentals. All the ingredients used come from Sharjah wheat, known as "Seven Sanabel."
Among the festival's events are significant raffles for visitors, presenting the opportunity to win valuable prizes, including 10 cars for festival attendees.
