His Highness issued the Emiri Decree, forming the council for the 11th legislative chapter, consisting of fifty members.
The first session begins with assigning the presidency to the oldest member following the election of a chairman and vice-chairman. The members are also informed of all the laws issued in the council’s absence.
After that, His Highness officially opens the first regular session of the 11th legislative chapter.
Following the opening ceremony, the council will form its committees and then elect supervisors, provided that the council is informed of the latest developments, including the second session date, which will include its review of the general budget of Sharjah Government for 2024 and the report received from the Council’s Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee.
