Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for allowing the citizens of the emirate to participate in the Sharjah Consultative Council’s elections.
He explained that the elections for the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah are an opportunity for citizens to express their views, participate in community development, and deliver their message to the government through the council, stressing that everyone is a partner in the success of the voting process.
In statements to “Sharjah 24”, Al Shamsi called on citizens to participate in the voting process, because it is a trust that everyone must fulfill, indicating that the organising committee provides all support to citizens to facilitate the voting process.
The voting phase ends on December 7, with the initial results for the candidates being announced on the same day, followed by the period for submitting appeals, and then announcing the final list of winners.
