Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police and Head of the Security Committee for the Sharjah Consultative Council Elections 2023, affirmed the emirate's enhanced security efforts to provide voters with the highest level of safety and security, thereby supporting the electoral process.
He stated that all members of the security committees and field teams had been present since early morning to secure the electoral districts, facilitate voter access to polling centres, and provide comprehensive support to citizens, demonstrating the emirate's vision and pioneering parliamentary experience.

Al Shamsi highlighted that the security and traffic strategy is moving along in a systematic manner, with the Emirate of Sharjah and its cities safeguarding nine voting centres. He asked residents not to be afraid to contact any of the security committees or police patrols stationed on all highways, squares, and locations surrounding the election headquarters for assistance or instruction in participating effectively in this important national event.
