Talib Abdullah Al Yahyaei announced the start of the voting process for 2023 Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) elections, affirming that the voting process will continue in Dibba Al Hisn Council for three days, starting from 5 to 7 December , from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Al Yahyai emphasized the significance of citizens' participation in this election as it represents an opportunity for them to choose their candidates in SCC. In a special statement to Sharjah 24, he noted that this election is an important step towards strengthening the democratic process in the emirate and contribute to enabling citizens to participate effectively in making decisions that affect their society.
Talib Al Yahyaei emphasized the committee's dedication to ensuring a secure and open atmosphere for the electoral process, explaining that the headquarters concentrates on the safety precautions taken to guarantee the security of voters and staff during the voting period in order to streamline the voting process and prevent crowds, affirming that there are three voting platforms to vote through.
