“Pride and Honour” remembers the UAE’s martyrs sacrifices

Sharjah 24: In a beautiful tribute to the heroic martyrs of the UAE, Sharjah Channel has prepared a unique programme, on the occasion of Martyr’s Day, under the title “Fakhr wa I’tizaz” (Pride and Honour), which will be broadcast, on Thursday, between ten and twelve o’clock in the morning.

The programme will include segments expressing appreciation for the UAE martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their homeland.

The programme hosts several guests from the armed forces, in addition to Dr. Farida Al Hosani, the official spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health; Aisha Reda Al Bairaq, writer and member of the National Council; and Noura Ashour, the daughter of a martyr.

The programme is broadcast from Buhaira Corniche, and is presented by broadcasters Mohammed Ramadan and Alia Al Shamsi, and includes coverage of several cities in the eastern and central Emirates, in addition to many reports and segments.
