SBA to cover 9th annual Xposure Int’l Photography Festival

Sharjah24: Sharjah24: The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) has announced its plan to cover the 9th annual Xposure International Photography Festival, organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau. The event will take place from February 20 to 26 at Aljada, Sharjah, featuring more than 400 photographers from 48 countries.

Live Broadcasts

The Authority’s radio and television channels will provide live coverage of the festival, along with field reports capturing the most significant workshops and discussions. This initiative aligns with the authority’s mission to support meaningful art and cater to its audience’s interest in captivating visual stories documented by world-renowned photographers.

Exclusive Programming

Sharjah TV will broadcast the opening ceremony live, followed by continuous coverage through a dedicated studio at the event site. The festival will also feature in the popular morning show, "Sabah Al Sharjah", which will provide extensive reports, interviews, and insights into various festival activities. Also, live coverage from the participating exhibition booths will provide viewers with updates on the latest developments in the world of photography.

Al Wusta TV to Provide Comprehensive Xposure Coverage

As part of its strategy to keep pace with major events in the Emirate of Sharjah, Al Wusta TV from Al Dhaid will offer comprehensive coverage of the 9th annual Xposure International Photography Festival. The channel will deliver in-depth reports to both its television audience and social media followers, ensuring extensive coverage of the festival’s key moments and highlights.

Sharjah Radio Launches Special Xposure 2025 Coverage

Sharjah Radio is set to provide exclusive coverage of the Sharjah International Photography Festival through a dedicated program broadcast live from Aljada. Airing daily from 5 to 6 PM, the show will be hosted by Sheikha Bin Khamis and will feature insightful interviews with festival guests and photography experts. With a focus on workshops, discussions, and key festival highlights, the program aims to immerse listeners in the artistic and cultural essence of the event.

Pulse 95 Live from Xposure

Pulse 95 Radio, Sharjah’s English-language station, is set to deliver extensive live coverage of the Xposure International Photography Festival with its dedicated program, "Pulse 95 Live from Xposure." The program will be broadcast live from Aljada during the festival, airing daily from 12 PM to 2 PM, and on Fridays from 6 PM to 8 PM.

The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) is offering visitors at its Xposure booth a chance to explore the content of its Maraya platform through an interactive screen. Additionally, the booth features an AI-powered photography corner, providing an immersive and engaging experience for attendees.

SBA Director Praises Xposure 2025 Organisation

On this occasion, His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, commended the Sharjah Government Media Bureau for successfully organising a unique and distinguished festival. He expressed confidence in the success of Xposure’s 9th edition, highlighting its valuable opportunity for both the public and professionals to experience powerful images that have captured significant historical and humanitarian moments.

He also highlighted the importance of the Xposure International Photography Festival and revealed plans for extensive coverage on SBA’s channels. The coverage will focus on significant events, showcasing both local and international participation, and will include exclusive interviews with photographers and artists. SBA will also deliver immediate updates through its digital channels, showcasing vibrant content that highlights Sharjah’s position as a global center for artistic and cultural innovation.
