The event was held from May 27 to 29 at the Singapore Exhibition Centre.
SBA was represented at the event by a delegation that included Aisha Obaid Al Zarif, Director of the Engineering Technology Sector; Fatima Mohammed Al Qaidi, Director of Engineering at Al Sharqiya Channel from Kalba; Rashid Abdullah Al Naqbi, Director of Digital Services; Ahmed Hussein Al Ali, Director of Human Resources; and Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed, Graphic Designer.
The delegation participated in field trips and specialised workshops, learning about the latest technologies and future trends in the fields of broadcasting, artificial intelligence, virtual production, and satellite communications.
The Authority's delegation also held a series of meetings with representatives of leading technology companies, discussing opportunities for cooperation and knowledge exchange with the aim of enhancing technical efficiency and improving the quality of media content across the Authority's channels and digital platform.
Aisha Obaid Al Zarif emphasised that participating in this global event falls within the Authority's strategic direction to enhance its technical capabilities and explore new horizons in media work, keeping pace with technological advancements and enhancing the viewer experience.
Aisha Al Zarif added that through SBA participation in this type of exhibition, the Authority is keen to discover the latest innovative technical systems that enhance the efficiency of broadcasting and media production. SBA is keen to leverage these systems to develop media infrastructure and deliver high-quality content that appeals to local and global audiences.
