Sharjah24: During the second half of the current year, the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) fulfilled 73 wishes for orphans in its care as part of the "Sidrat Al-Umniyat " (The Tree of Wishes) project.
The initiative embraces increased humanitarian aims to promote orphan happiness and invites donations from donors, people, and community institutions in order to disseminate the principles of giving and social solidarity in society.
"The foundation continues its efforts to understand the various needs of orphans under the institution's care and works diligently to fulfil their wishes," said Mariam Al-Khalifa, Director of Relations and Guardians Affairs. The overall number of wishes granted during the year to the end of October reached 186, bringing the total number of wishes fulfilled since the project's inception in 2016 to 3,304."
"In appreciation and striving to bring happiness to all members of society, the team of social responsibility from the representative office participated in fulfilling the wishes of orphans at the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation within its 'Sidrat Al-Umniyat project in collaboration with private establishments in the emirate, aiming to," stated the Initiatives and Events Team of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection's Representative Office in Sharjah.
The "Sidrat Al-Umniyat " project is an innovative programme that focuses on the humanitarian, social, psychological, and educational aspects of orphan assistance, representing the foundation's profound vision and philosophy in caring for and sponsoring its orphaned children. It mobilises all parts of society, including people, government, and private entities, to play a major societal role in the care of orphans.
