Sharjah24: Within the framework of the “PenCraft Initiative” supporting the education of orphans, the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) distributed 88 educational devices, including computers and tablets, to orphaned students associated with the foundation in Sharjah city and the central and eastern regions. The total cost approached AED 160,000, representing a part of the ongoing efforts to sustain education for orphans and address the academic challenges they face.
Mona Al Suwaidi, Director General of Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, emphasised, "The foundation is attuned to the academic needs of its students, consistently identifying their requirements and providing support to enhance their educational journeys. Education holds utmost importance, ranking as a critical necessity. Recently, we focused on supplying educational devices to the needy orphans, aiming to eliminate educational barriers and encourage them to attain a higher academic standard, positively impacting their future."

She added, "We express our gratitude to all contributors to the project, exemplifying the collaborative role played by members of society. This participatory role positively influences the quality of services offered to orphans, propelling the development of a comprehensive educational support system for orphans and addressing all their educational concerns. This, in turn, contributes to empowering orphans and constructing a cooperative, cohesive society."

The "PenCraft Initiative” encompasses a range of diverse academic and knowledge services designed to address the educational needs of students, providing both material and moral support throughout their academic journeys. This ensures educational care, academic empowerment, financial support, and the provision of digital learning devices and school.
