Sharjah24: With the slogan "A Quarter Century of Excellence in Parliamentary Work, Sharjah Children of Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Leaders and Innovators, held its seventeenth session of training workshops for members of the Sharjah Children's Shura in an attempt to raise children's awareness of parliamentary culture.
The Wasit Wetlands Center's director, Aisha Al Midfa, and the center's academic advisor, Sheikha Al Zaabi, led a dialogue session on sustainability and COP28 for members of the Sharjah Children's Shura. During the session, the members learned about the roles played by the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) in preserving the environment's sustainability , as well as The Wasit Wetlands Center's contribution to preserving the environment's sustainability and facilitating the reproduction of threatened species of birds. The session also covered biodiversity, moist environments, and natural environmental sciences, which center on environmentally friendly techniques for animal and plant reproduction as well as bird care. A broad tour of the Wasit Wetlands Center's exterior reserve was part of the dialogue session.
Members of the Sharjah Children's Shura met at the Children's Center in Al Bataeh for a brainstorming session led by Fatima Al Kaabi, General Supervisor of Sharjah Children's Arts and Languages Track. During the session, they talked about issues pertaining to education, health, the environment, children's rights, transportation, the environment, and sustainability. Additionally, a few team-building exercises were conducted with them to encourage collaboration and teamwork.
The members of the Shura Council learned about the hospitality, visiting, elder respect, and neighborly kindness during the "Sana'...a way of life" workshop, which was led by Professor Muhammad Rashid Rashoud. They also learned about the etiquette of gatherings, receiving guests, sitting around the table, and hospitality. They also learned about the protocol of attending Sharjah Children's Shura sessions, the protocol of discussion, listening to and addressing guests, and not being distracted during the session.
Sharjah Children aims to equip the members of the Sharjah Children's Shura with parliamentary work skills and enhance their discourse and communication abilities by providing these seminars.
