Sharjah CP attends graduation ceremony at Police Science Academy

Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, presided over the graduation ceremony of the Police Science Academy in Sharjah. The ceremony included the graduation of the first doctoral batch and the fifth master's batch in Police Management, Criminal Investigation, and Quality and Excellence in Security Work. During the event, Sheikh Sultan reviewed the accompanying exhibition showcasing the research and doctoral projects of the graduating students.
The graduation ceremony commenced with the arrival of the ceremony's patron, who inspected the accompanying exhibition showcasing the messages and research of the graduating students. The event then began with the playing of the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates, followed by the recitation of verses from the Noble Quran. Subsequently, a documentary film, prepared by the Academy's Government Communication Department, was presented. It highlighted the journey of glory and contribution, the educational path of the students at the Academy, experienced through knowledge and training, culminating in these proud and momentous moments. 
Mohammed Khamis Al-Othmani, Director General of the Police Science Academy, welcomed Sheikh Sultan and expressed gratitude for his continuous support. He commended the efforts of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and His Highness the Crown Prince of Sharjah for their support to the academy, which has greatly contributed to its impressive scientific advancements. He emphasised that discussing the Police Science Academy and its achievements involves various aspects. Foremost among them is recognising and praising the substantial endeavours of the Sharjah government, led by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. These efforts have propelled the academy into the league of advanced and scientifically progressive police academies and colleges. This encompasses aspects such as the academy's physical location in the university city, construction, development, and preparation, as well as its educational programmes, plans for improvement, and the provision of diverse resources to enhance the student's comfort in academic and cognitive accomplishments.
The Director General of the Academy added that the second aspect related to this event is acknowledging the journey of the Police Sciences Academy, which has surpassed a quarter of a century marked by development and contributions. The academy has played a significant role in serving and uplifting society, solidifying its position and establishing strong foundations in the field of providing high-level security education.
Al-Othmani extended congratulations and best wishes to the graduates, noting that they represent the future of the country and its hope. He encouraged them to earnestly strive to meet the expectations placed upon them, emphasising that the academic degrees obtained should serve as a source of dedication and loyalty in their service to the country and its people. Additionally, he expressed gratitude and appreciation to the academic faculty at the academy for their significant efforts in the pursuit of knowledge.
Khalifa Nasser Al Himiari, representing the graduates, expressed appreciation to Sheikh Sultan for his presence and support. 
The Crown Prince of Sharjah presented certificates to the graduates, totaling 45 graduates, including 10 with doctoral degrees and 35 with master's degrees. His Highness wished them success and prosperity in their future lives.
He also received a commemorative gift from the academy, which was an artistic model symbolising the graduating students. This gesture was an expression of the academy's appreciation and gratitude to His Highness for his significant support, presence, and sponsorship of the graduation ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, commemorative photos were taken of His Highness the Crown Prince of Sharjah with the graduates and members of the academy's council.

The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ruler's Office, Dr. Mansour bin Nassar, Head of the Legal Department of the Government of Sharjah, and Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police.
