Sharjah CP witnesses SPA’s graduation of 23rd batch

Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the board of the Sharjah Police Academy (SPA), witnessed on Monday the graduation ceremony for the 23rd batch of officer students and batch 2 of the qualifying course for promotion to the rank of lieutenant, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
Following the rendition of the UAE National Anthem and recitation from the holy Quran, Brigadier General Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al Othmani, Director General of the Academy, gave a speech in which he welcomed Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the board of the Sharjah Police Academy and the attendees, shedding light on the significant role of the wise leadership in promoting the life quality and security for all the citizens and residents, contributing in ensuring the prosperity and growth in various aspects of life.


During the ceremony, being held at the Sharjah Police Academy, the Director General of the Sharjah Police Academy highlighted the efforts of the students in achieving the Academy’s strategic vision, stressing that the Academy constantly works to develop its educational and training programs by using the latest methods and technologies in the Academy’s curricula and programs through signing internal and external cooperation agreements, ensuring the benefits of the Academy’s students and employees in various fields.


Concluding his statement, Al Othmani also congratulated the graduates, emphasising that the Academy continues its successes, in line with the vision and aspirations of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to prepare and qualify human cadres that accomplish various successes  at all levels.

The attendees watched military parades and shows that reflect the students’ gained skills during their training at the Academy.

Then, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the board of the Sharjah Police Academy honoured a number of the outstanding graduates, congratulating them on the achievement and wishing them success in their future endeavours. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi also honoured the top students of the qualifying course for promotion to the rank of lieutenant.

At the end of the ceremony, the Chairman of the academy’s board of directors posed for photos with the graduates and members of the academy's board.

Attending the graduation ceremony along with the Sharjah Crown Prince were Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office; Chairman of Sharjah's Department of Statistics and Community Development, Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi; Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, head of the Sharjah Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs (SDSVA); Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charity International (SCI); as well as a number of senior officials, heads of government departments, senior officers of the Ministry of Interior, general commands of the police, and a group of graduates' families.
