Sharjah 24: As part of the its community initiatives in support of charitable and humanitarian organisations in the Emirate of Sharjah, Al Khalidiya Suburb Council presented a donation check worth half a million dirhams to Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS).

His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiya Suburb Council, accompanied by Mohammed Rashid bin Jarash, Vice-Chairman of the Council, and Omran Mohammed Al Hammadi, the council official, received the SCHS delegation at the council's headquarters and presented them with a donation check in the name of SCHS.

This comes within the Al Khalidiya Suburb Council's emphasis on the importance of community efforts converging to support and develop services provided to people with special needs, in line with the latest international practices by strengthening the roles of SCHS in providing care for them, in light of the follow-up of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and the efforts of Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, President of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS)

His Excellency Al Marri confirmed that the donation comes within the initiatives of Al Khaldiya Suburb Council and in support of humanitarian and charitable work and in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
