Al Hazami complimented the advances in this sport as well as Al Qarqawi's efforts both locally and regionally during his administration.
He received the invitation to attend the Arab Championship in Cairo, describing it as one of the most renowned and important basketball competitions in the region, which has considerably aided the growth of Arab national teams.
Al Qarqawi also praised the Sharjah Sports Council's regional and national efforts, as well as the contributions of clubs in the Emirate of Sharjah.
