Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Municipality celebrated Flag Day with a morning ceremony, following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. The event took place in front of Al Hamriyah Municipality building and included the presence of His Excellency Mubarak Rashed Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, along with municipal staff
During the ceremony, everyone gathered in front of the tall flagpole near the building's entrance to raise the UAE flag in synchronisation with the national anthem, joined by participants, attendees, and children. On this special occasion, Al Shamsi, emphasised that Flag Day is an annual celebration that holds great significance in their hearts, demonstrating their unity and commitment to the directives of the wise leadership.
Al Shamsi highlighted the importance of the UAE flag, which symbolises their loyalty to the leadership and their strong attachment to the nation and its soil. He mentioned that the flag occupies a cherished place in their hearts, and they are willing to make sacrifices to keep it flying high. He also expressed their dedication to loyalty, hard work, and perseverance in contributing to the continued development, prosperity, and happiness of the UAE and its people and residents.
