Sharjah24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA), successfully provided electricity connections for 694 projects, with a capacity of up to 106 megavolt-amperes in the third quarter of 2023. Additionally, they extended low and medium voltage network feeders, covering a distance of 109 kilometers. These projects span across various sectors, including government, education, healthcare, residential, commercial, and industrial.
Engineer Ahmed Al Bass, Deputy Director of the Electricity Distribution Department, emphasised the authority's commitment to implementing all necessary measures and standards in collaboration with relevant authorities to ensure the safety and reliability of these connections. This aligns with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aimed at providing top-quality services across Sharjah.

AL Bass further highlighted that the authority promotes a favourable environment that encourages close cooperation between the authority, various government entities, consultants, and contractors. This environment stimulates innovation and streamlines the process of obtaining electricity services, adhering to the highest standards and best practices to further enhance the authority's excellence.
