SEWA receives 3,022 requests to connect natural gas services

Sharjah24: During the first half of this year, the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) received 3,022 requests for a permanent connection to natural gas. It also received 2,085 requests to approve natural gas plans for residential, commercial, industrial, governmental and agricultural buildings in the city of Sharjah.
Engineer Ibrahim Al-Balgouni, Director of the Shared Services Department at the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, affirmed  that the Authority is working on ongoing procedure development and customer facilitation through the use of cutting-edge technology and digital transformation in providing services, noting that the electronic platform the Authority launched to receive requests has greatly contributed to completing transactions as quickly as possible. 

He emphasized that the Authority is working in line with the goals and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as well as the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, to ensure the continuity of services in accordance with the highest standards of dependability and efficiency and the shift towards a digital world.

He emphasized that the innovative natural gas project in the Emirate of Sharjah helped to achieve a competitive advantage for various projects in the Emirate of Sharjah, indicating that the Authority continues to implement the natural gas network in various regions of the Emirate of Sharjah and develop its services in a way that meets the aspirations of the residents of the Emirate of Sharjah and provides services with high quality and timely delivery.
