SPEA organises 2nd Int’l Forum for Arabic teachers

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) organises the 2nd International Forum for Arabic teachers under the theme "Roots and Innovation." The event will take place on October 7, 2023, and will last two days, including a preparatory day before the ceremonial opening.
During the forum, there will be dialogue 7 sessions and 32 practical workshops focused on specialised devel-opment, professional community building, showcasing the best practices in teaching and learning the Arabic language. The Forum will witness the participation of 13 countries, 119 guests, workshop presenters, 32 speakers, 23 schools, and 80 students.

The attendees will also review model lessons, presenting examples of model classes in which the highest standards of active learning and the latest skills in learning and teaching the Arabic language are applied.

The Forum, focusing on 5 primary topics, will hold the preparatory day on October 6, whereas on October 7 the activities will be launched in presence, and the virtual activities will take place on October 8, including dif-ferent sessions and educational workshops, in the presence of an elite group of specialists, experts, and officials working in teaching and administrative entities.

The forum’s activities will begin with a speech by Her Excellency Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority and President of the Sharjah Education Academy, followed by a speech delivered by the guest of honour, Dr. Mohamed Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary General of Arabic Language Academy (ALA) in Sharjah, in the presence of several dignitaries. 

Before publishing its recommendations, the Forum closes its work by distributing certificates, and celebrating the winning students after announcing the results of the student writing competition, as well as launching the best educational class competition.
