The festival showcases the rich variety of cultural, educational, and artistic activities available in the Emirate of Sharjah. SPEA's involvement in this edition entails the organisation of a range of events and activities in partnership with private schools throughout the emirate.
The annual festival offers a delightful experience focused on strengthening community ties through various entertainment, cultural, heritage, and educational activities. We schedule the events over four days, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, to cater to all age groups.
On the inaugural day, students from private schools will commence the program with a screening of an educational film, while the audience will have the opportunity to engage with the festival's mascots, "Omar and Shamsa," during a segment that includes questions and prizes.
On the second day, 13 December, there will be a theatrical performance on stage, followed by two showcases featuring private school students. Furthermore, the day will feature an educational film screening along with interactive competitions for the audience.
On the third day, 14 December, a fusion of entertainment and education will take place, featuring activities like a fishing segment, an educational film screening, and two performances by the Al Yarmouk branch of private national schools. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in cultural and recreational competitions.
The concluding day will showcase artistic and crafting abilities with workshops focused on lampshade-making and floral arrangement. An educational film screening will accompany this, along with various competitions designed to foster interaction and participation among all age groups.
SPEA seeks to highlight its commitment to fostering creative education and community involvement, offering an engaging educational atmosphere that enhances the cultural experience for all visitors.
