Sharjah 24: Her Excellency Dr. Muhadditha Yahya Al Hashimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, confirmed that the session “4-Day Work Week - Data Settles the Productivity Debate” within the activities of the Regional Forum for Data and Community Development on its first day, reviewed the results of implementing the 4-day work week in education in the Emirate of Sharjah, carrying significant positive results.
She explained in a special statement to “Sharjah 24” that the implementation of the 4-day work week aims to improve the quality of professional and academic life of educational cadres, and that the initial data showed a 90% increase in teacher satisfaction compared to the previous work week. The session also discussed the potential challenges of this work week, in addition to reviewing the benefits that can be achieved through its implementation on a wider scale.
She pointed out the importance of relying on data and studies in making decisions related to developing the education system, in order to ensure achieving a balance between the quality of education and the well-being of educational personnel.
