Sharjah 24: The Sinn Al-Haqaiq competitions for the President's Cup have now entered their third week. These events, which kicked off on Friday, September 15th, took place at the Al Dhaid field and were organised by the Sharjah Camel Racing Club. The competitions featured 18 laps for the Sinn Al-Haqaiq (two-year-old) camels, descendants of various tribes, covering a 2-kilometre distance. The race attracted a significant crowd of camel owners.
The top positions in the race were secured by the following participants:
In the first lap, "Aneeda," owned by Jumaa Mohammed Sharara Al-Kitbi, finished with an impressive time of 2:57:29.
The second lap, "Al-Tayer," owned by Rashid Salem Obaid Al-Amri, completed the race in 2:58:28.
The third lap, "Jameela," owned by Haran Mohammed Abdullah Hweidan Al-Kitbi, posted a time of 2:58:33.
His Excellency Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, noted that the inaugural Sinn Al-Haqaiq competition in the President's Cup races during its third week showcased the outstanding performance of several renowned figures in the realm of camel racing among the tribal camel owners, all amidst fierce competition for victory.
