Sharjah 24: Al Dhaid Sports Club witnessed the conclusion of the training gathering for chess clubs in the Emirate of Sharjah, in cooperation with the Sharjah Chess Cultural Club. The gathering featured the participation of 75 players from multiple clubs, including Al Bataeh, Mleiha, Ittihad Kalba, Khorfakkan, and Al Dhaid.

This gathering, which concluded last night, is part of the efforts of the Sharjah clubs under the umbrella of the Sharjah Sports Council to promote and develop chess as a competitive sport. It contributes to building a generation of young people interested in learning and developing the skills of this fascinating mental sport.

A distinguished tournament was organised for multiple categories, including juniors and youth. This tournament witnessed a positive turnout from the participants who showed outstanding performance levels.

His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden, Chairman of the Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, along with Malik Musbah bin Fararia Al Kutbi, a member of the Board of Directors, presented the awards to the winners in various categories.
