Sharjah 24: Brimming with optimism and a strong commitment to nurturing the nation's youth, the inaugural meeting of the board of directors of Al Dhaid Sports Club was held at its headquarters for the new session.
This gathering serves as the initial stride towards realising the aspirations and objectives of Al Dhaid Sports Club, reaffirming its dedication to achieving excellence in both sports and social domains.
Commencing with expressions of gratitude, the meeting conveyed appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as well as Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. Gratitude was also extended to the Sharjah Sports Council for their unwavering support and keen interest in the club and its sports initiatives.
Salem bin Huwaiden, the Chairman of the Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club Board, underscored the importance of this meeting as the foundational step towards accomplishing more triumphs and advancements in the club's journey. He reasserted the board's strategic approach, building upon past achievements to amplify focus on native athletes spanning diverse sports and disciplines.
Salem Mohamed bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Sports Club, elaborated that the club's forthcoming plans will be executed in accordance with the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and the strategic vision of Sharjah Sports Council. These plans are geared towards enriching the club's programmes and activities, aligning seamlessly with the sporting and societal aspirations and requisites of the community.
