Sharjah 24: The Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi Award for Sports Excellence Board of Trustees has acknowledged sports clubs and institutions for outstanding achievements.
The award recognises the exceptional efforts and club support of aspiring athletes, with a focus on mind and body development. This allows athletes to combine athletics with academic or professional goals by leading a healthy, active, happy, and meaningful life.
The Board of Trustees of the award met with club coordinators and officials at the Sharjah Sports Council offices. They discussed important nomination method and required observations. They also looked at the specialty categories for honouring participating clubs and institutions, as well as the process for choosing which clubs to award. The club with the highest number of participants will be picked.
Najlaa Abdullah Al Shamsi, the award's Secretary-General, presided over the meeting. Wafa Abdullah, a member of the Board of Trustees and the Technical Standards Committee supervisor, and Mohamed Ali bin Hamad, a member of the Board and the Events and Public Relations Committee supervisor, both attended, as did multiple award subcommittee members.
Najlaa Al Shamsi emphasised the Trustees' commitment to Emirate sports clubs and institutions. This pledge aims to fulfil Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi's sporting goals.
