Sharjah24: Mohammed Ali bin Hammad, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi Award for Sports Excellence, announced developing a special honouring for the coordinators of clubs and sports institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah.
He said that this morning, the coordinators of clubs and sports institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah were welcomed at the Sharjah Sports Council's headquarters, reviewing the challenges they have faced during the application process, as well as addressing all inquiries related to the award and its categories.
Bin Hammad added during his exclusive statements to “Sharjah24” that a special recognition has been introduced for the most interactive and distinguished clubs in supporting the award, through two categories: the club with the largest participation in the award categories, and the excellent coordinator in the Emirate of Sharjah's sports institutions, clubs, and centers. He has further stressed that this comes in an effort of the Award’s Board of Trustees to sustain excellence in sports institutions in the emirate, with aiming to achieve the ambitious visions in the sports sector under the guidance of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Sharjah Women’s Sports Foundation (SWSF).
In conclusion, he expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all the participants, partners, coordinators, and clubs for their support and remarkable efforts in ensuring the success of the award. He also lauded their beneficial influence on athletes participating in a variety of sports, enabling them to achieve sporting excellence at different levels.
