Sharjah 24: The authors and scholars featured in the sixth edition of "Arab Language Academy (ALA) Magazine" explore many aspects of the Arabic language and literature, including language and lexicography. Readers will learn about the efforts of Arab academics to translate and abridge classics written in ancient Arabic through these studies.
According to Dr Mohamed Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Taher bin Ashour wrote "Hadiyyat al-Arib li-Asdaq Habib." Ibn Hisham al-Ansari's work, "Qatr al-Nada wa-Ball al-Sada," was the subject of his expository essay. He used it to shed light on Ibn Hisham al-Ansari's "Qatr al-Nada wa-Ball al-Sada."

Al Mosteghanemi lauded the efforts of modern academics like Sheikh Ibn Ashour to make knowledge available in the Arabic library to younger generations.

In the article "Speaking Arabic: A National Duty," Mohammed Abdulbaqi argued that maintaining Arab and religious identity necessitates fluency in spoken and written colloquial Arabic.

According to research by Dr Ahmed Ali Shahuri titled "Manifestations of the Image of the mother in Pre-Islamic Poetry," published in the journal, mothers are given less attention in pre-Islamic poetry than wives or other loved ones.

Researcher Fadwa Al-Aboud reviewed the collection "Al-Khawafi" by Iraqi poet Jarah Kareem, the 2020 recipient of the Mohammed Al-Qaisi Poet Award, from a philosophical, literary, and critical perspective.

Author Sari'a Salim reflected on the role of Arabic in Arab literature, science, and culture.

Sharjah's "Arab Language Academy Magazine" is already in its sixth edition, and it features articles on a wide range of literary and linguistic issues.

The journal also noted the generous donation of 36 volumes of "The Historical Dictionary of the Arabic Language" by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to Poland's Jagiellonian University. The university was founded in 1364, making it the oldest in Poland and the second oldest in Central Europe.

This initiative seeks to promote Arabic language education, highlight the academy's role in scientific partnerships between global educational institutions, and enhance the university's development.
