The Arabic Language Academy (ALA) in Sharjah was represented at the session by Dr Mohamed Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary General. The session was moderated by Dr Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Sunaidi, who was joined by Al-Mostaghanemi and a group of professors and researchers from Saudi Arabia, Italy, and South Korea.
During the session, Al-Mostaghanemi emphasised the "Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah's" role in empowering the Arabic language, as well as its most significant achievements, citing His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who has provided the Academy with the best support and care since its inception in accordance with his cultural and intellectual vision.
Participants in the session highlighted the importance of civilised communication between the world's languages, emphasising that the call to protect the Arabic language does not preclude learning other languages, and that mastering two languages entails understanding the diverse literatures, arts, and cultures that abound in those languages. The panellists also discussed the Arabic language's worldwide relevance and its strong presence in diverse civilisations.
