Sharjah24: During the participation of the "Arabic Language Academy" (ALA) in Sharjah in a symposium titled "The Language of Media: Integrity of Structure and Relevance of Meaning," which was organised in Nouakchott by the High Authority for Audio-visual Communications, the Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, Mohamed Safi Al Mosteghanemi, emphasised the importance of adopting sound Arabic in all media and the need to benefit from Arabic's richness, originality.
The Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah expressed his appreciation for Mauritania's efforts to serve and safeguard the Arabic language and commended the country for selecting Nouakchott as the capital of Islamic culture in 2023.

Dr Al-Hussein Amdo, President of the High Authority for Audio-Visual Communications welcomed attendees and guests from Cairo, Sharjah, and Mali, and thanked the "Arabic Tongue Council in Mauritania" for their commendable efforts and cooperation to serve, protect, and develop the Arabic language's performance in the media.

Similarly, Professor Khalil Al-Nahawi, Chairman of the "Arabic Tongue Council in Mauritania," welcomed the participants and thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for his generous care and constant willingness to support Arabic language federations and academies in general, and the "Arab Language Council" in particular, as well as serving the Arab nation, language, and culture.

Prof. Abdul Hamid Madkour, Secretary General of the Federation of Arab Linguistic Academies in Cairo, expressed his happiness at taking part in the symposium, which represents Mauritanians' devotion to Arabic and desire to serve its culture.
