Sharjah24: Emirates Creative Association (ECA) concluded on Thursday evening the Professional Diploma Program in Creative Writing, presented by a selection of writers and authors from the United Arab Emirates. The program was attended by a number of participants, including youth and university students. Its aim was to discover talents, develop participants' skills, and enhance their abilities, empowering young writers in the field of creative writing while showcasing their literary talents.

The diploma included a number of important topics. The program included interactive workshops where participants were provided with both theoretical and applied knowledge through activities, discussions, and literary text analysis. A team of UAE-based writers and literature specialists led the program, namely Dr. Mohammed Hamdan bin Jarash, Dr. Nagia Al Kharji, and Ms. Fatima Al Mazroui.

Dr. Mohammed bin Jarash, the lecturer and general supervisor of the diploma, affirmed that the program was launched in conjunction with the Year of Sustainability. He highlighted that the Emirates Creative Association is keen on raising awareness about the role of creativity in achieving creative sustainability. He emphasised that the diploma serves to empower young individuals, enabling them to enrich the literary arena with their creative productions.
