Sharjah24: Dibba Al-Hisn Sports Club recently wrapped up its highly successful 2023 summer activities with the theme "Our Vacation is Different." The club organised a series of championships as part of the exciting summer events, all under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council. The activities encompassed football, various sports, cultural and artistic events, community gatherings, workshops, lectures, both within and outside the club, as well as diverse online competitions for all participants and parents.
Yesterday evening, a closing ceremony took place at the club's premises, featuring a variety of segments. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished individuals, including Mohammed Abdullah Rashid Al-Tarbouni, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, Obaid Saeed Ali Khamis Al-Taniji, the Head of the First Team Committee, and Ahmed Abdullah Al-Naqbi, the Head of the Strategic Planning and Corporate Excellence Committee. During the ceremony, heartfelt appreciation was expressed to the Sharjah Sports Council for their sponsorship of the summer activities, as well as to all those who contributed to the event's success, including institutions, volunteers, organisers, and participating players.
Furthermore, the ceremony included the honouring of participants and winners of the kids' football championship and the youth category, as well as recognition for the best scorer, best goalkeeper, and best player. Additionally, the winner of the sports commentator competition was celebrated, and the event saw the active participation of the Parents' Council of students in Dibba Al-Hisn.
