Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) is organising the 'Conservation Camp' (Engineer of the Future) in its first edition from 7 to 17 August for the age group from 11 to 13 years.
Rashid Al Marzouqi, Assistant Director of the Conservation Department at the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), explained that the camp programme includes a variety of recreational, cultural and educational activities, 4 hours per day from 10 am to 2 pm.
He stressed that the SEWA is keen to promote positive values and develop the skills of all segments of society through programmes and initiatives that contribute to creating an interactive environment that contributes to the development of their capabilities to prepare a generation aware of the importance of energy and its role in the development of society.
He maintained that this comes in line with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to spread awareness and achieve sustainable development in all sectors.
He added that 40 aspiring participants were registered in the camp to take advantage of this opportunity to develop themselves and discover their potential. The SEWA seeks to make the camp an exciting and beneficial experience for all participants, as events are organised in the best possible way within an encouraging environment.
