SEWA operates a new power transmission station in Halwan

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has started operating the new Halwan power transmission station (11/33 kV) as a continuation of the Authority’s efforts to develop energy transmission and distribution networks, in all regions, and to provide the best services to Sharjah residents.
The total cost of implementing the station amounted to AED21 million.

Engineer Hamad Al Tunaiji, Director of the Energy Transmission Department at SEWA, confirmed that the project is an important achievement that serves the Helwan region and the neighbouring areas.

Al Tunaiji explained that SEWA is always striving to implement development projects to meet the current and future needs of citizens and residents in different Sharjah regions, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to continuously work on developing services.

Al Tunaiji pointed out that the new Helwan station project, with a voltage of 11/33 kilovolts, was implemented in accordance with the highest international standards to ensure quality and efficiency in operating the station.
