216 participants in Sharjah Summer Sports Programme in Khorfakkan

Sharjah 24: Dr. Ammar Rashid Allay, Secretary General of the Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club, affirmed the club's keenness to consolidate the culture of practicing sports, and to invest children's time in acquiring new skills through the Sharjah Summer Sports Programme.
The Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club continues its sports and educational activities as part of the Sharjah Summer Sports Programme, which is organised by the club under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council under the slogan "Our Unconventional Vacation".

Dr. Allay said that the one-month-long programme has so far attracted about 216 children from the age groups 7 to 13 years old, adding that children are engaged in many sports and educational activities, including many sports and educational activities.

Allay explained to "Sharjah 24" that the programme is organised in cooperation with a number of local institutions, including the Sharjah Police General Command represented by the Eastern Region Police Department, the Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, and the Sharjah Institute for Heritage.

The Secretary-General of Khorfakkan Club indicated that the programme aims to invest the summer vacation times for children in learning and discovering new skills, instilling national values and principles, as well as discovering new sports talents.
