Sharjah24: The Arab Parliament for the Child (APC) concluded its second session of the third edition hosted by the Emirate of Sharjah, on Saturday, at the Sharjah Consultative Council to discuss sustainable efforts for the climate. Building on this, Sharjah 24 news website offered a real window to shed light on the event by interviewing Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of the Parliament of the Arab Child, who spared no efforts in sparking light on the event.
Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of the Parliament of the Arab Child, explained that the second session of the Parliament was titled "The Arab Child... A Sustainable Effort for the Climate," noting that the members enriched the session with Arab proposals and achievements on the climate and sustainable alternative energy, and discussed a range of climate challenges at the global and Arab levels.
Al-Barout added, in statements to "Sharjah 24", that the members presented a set of recommendations that will be submitted to the Secretariat of the League of Arab States to follow up on their implementation through the relevant committees, explaining that raising the issue of climate and discussing it aligns with Arab trends, especially with the hosting of climate summit COP28 in UAE, indicating that these recommendations will be an addition to the world and the Arab world in particular.
