Sharjah24: The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) honoured Majed Abdullah Abboud for placing first as the best individual supporting voluntary work, during the SAVW's annual ceremony held amid its 20th session.
The SAVW recognized Majid's contributions to supporting voluntary work, including launching and managing an application that provides information and other content regarding voluntary work and allocating a section for the SAVW in the application.
Fatima Musa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Award, praised Majid's efforts in embracing voluntary work that positively impacted society.
She indicated that the award is keen to honour individuals and entities contributing significantly to supporting volunteering and eagerly encourage participation.
Majid Abboud was pleased to win the award for supporting volunteering, stressing that it motivates him to deliver more in volunteer work.
