Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of Sharjah Ruler's Office in Khorfakkan, and Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of Sharjah Ruler's Office in Kalba, witnessed, on Saturday, the closing of the annual ceremony to honour the distinguished, organised by the council at Kalba University Theatre.
The ceremony was also attended by a number of officials and representatives of government departments and private sector institutions, workers in the administrative and academic bodies of Kalba schools, and a crowd of parents and distinguished students.
Speaking to “Sharjah 24”, Dr. Ali Obaid Al Zaabi said that the ceremony, which was held under the slogan "Sustainable Excellence", honoured a large number of outstanding students at various educational levels, in addition to school principals and teachers, and a number of parents in recognition of their constant cooperation and work to support the educational outputs in the city.
The honoring ceremony was featured by poems and creative theatrical performances.
