Sharjah 24: The orphan students associated with the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) successfully concluded their academic year with the graduation of 196 students from secondary school. These students achieved exceptional results and received high grades in both Sharjah and the Central and Eastern regions.
Throughout their study period, the foundation provided extensive care and attention to the educational requirements of these students. They implemented the "Allama Bil Qalam" project, which aimed to identify and address any difficulties these students faced in their education. This comprehensive initiative ensured that all their academic needs were fully supported during their years of study.
Expressing her satisfaction with the students' accomplishments, Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, the Director-General of the foundation, stated, "We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the orphan students who graduated from twelfth grade. Their excellent results truly reflect their dedication and exceptional abilities. The foundation remains committed to supporting students through the 'Allama Bil Qalam' project, which serves as an all-encompassing programme covering their academic and educational needs at every stage. This initiative is the largest and most crucial programme of our foundation. We sincerely thank the community members and institutions who have contributed to supporting orphan education through the project, and we call for collective efforts to provide further support and assistance to orphan students in the Emirate of Sharjah."
SSEF prioritises academic empowerment and recognises its significant importance in their strategic plans. The "Allama Bil Qalam" project encompasses a wide range of programmes, ensuring continuous educational support for orphan students throughout the year. These programmes include providing essential educational resources and meeting their academic needs, whether within the school or university environment. Additionally, the foundation offers a tuition fee payment or reduction programme for orphan students, as well as a university scholarship programme, aiming to create opportunities for outstanding orphan students who have successfully graduated from secondary school to pursue higher education.
