Sharjah24: His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary General of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) , released the numbers and data of SCC during the tenth legislative term "4 sessions", which ended last Thursday.
The Secretary General of the SCC, stated that the council convened 60 meetings during the course of the tenth legislative term's activity, which spanned 4 years and coincided with the Corona epidemic. During these sessions, it discussed 22 draft laws and policies from 24 different government departments in the emirate.
Al Jarwan added, in statements to "Sharjah 24", that the council received 722 complaints and convene 180 meetings, and hold 91 field visits to government departments in Sharjah, affirming that all quality certificates were renewed during these years.
Al Jarwan wished to candidates all success for the Eleventh Legislative term in order to contribute to harvesting further achievements and serve the emirate of Sharjah .
SCC held 17 sessions during the fourth regular session of the tenth legislative term, in which it discussed the policies of 4 government departments, as the number of applicants reached 80 members, and it issued 42 recommendations covering all aspects of policies, terms of reference, and services provided to the public and auditors.
SCC discussed during the session, 8 draft laws referred by Sharjah Executive Council , and the members asked four parliamentary questions dealing with various vital issues in the emirate, in addition to the council committees’ works in 24 meetings and 11 working visits.
