Sharjah 24: Dr. Hamid Jassim Al Suwaiji, Member of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, explained that the council discussed, during its seventeenth and final meeting for the fourth regular session of the tenth legislative term, its recommendations regarding the emirate’s municipalities.
He stated the recommendations contribute to supporting government work and improving its services, adding, “I made a number of recommendations regarding the Department of Municipal Affairs, the most important of which is considering granting permits for external car umbrellas to families that suffer from small residential spaces.”
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Al Suwaiji indicated that the recommendations included the importance of reclaiming investment lands that were granted to a number of citizens near the "waste dump" in the city of Kalba, as well as the need to find effective solutions to unifying the electronic services provided by the Municipalities Affairs Department in Emirate of Sharjah in its various branches, explaining that a number of recommendations have been approved, provided that they are submitted to the government for consideration.
Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Consultative Council concluded the session reading Emiri Decree adjourning the session, announcing the close of the tenth legislative term of the Council.
