Sharjah24: In line of World Blood Donor Day observed annually on June 14th, Kuwait Hospital in Sharjah, a part of the Emirates Healthcare Services, launched a blood donation drive. Joining forces with the Blood Transfusion Services Center and the Community Awareness Unit of the Sharjah Red Crescent, the hospital demonstrated its unwavering commitment to social responsibility and community awareness by promoting the significance of blood donation.

Afra Salem, Director of Kuwait Hospital in Sharjah, underscored the profound humanitarian value of donating blood, an act that exemplifies the enduring legacy of the Late Sheikh Zayed, while aligning with the visionary guidance of the leadership that places individuals at the forefront of government priorities. Salem expressed immense satisfaction with the overwhelming response from community members who eagerly participated in the noble cause, evidencing their deep social consciousness and commitment to supporting patients by contributing blood samples.
