Sharjah 24: In conjunction with the World Tuberculosis Day 2023, observed on 24 March each year, the Kuwait Hospital in Sharjah, affiliated to the Emirates Health Services, in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Public Health Centre in Sharjah organised, an awareness campaign to enhance the awareness of workers in construction sites on how to prevent tuberculosis and ways to deal with this disease, which is a deadly infectious chest disease.

Afra Salem, Director of Kuwait Hospital in Sharjah confirmed that the EHS is keen to enhance community awareness through its health facilities, by employing local and international events, by launching initiatives, campaigns and organising events to expand the scope of benefit among the largest number of members of society, with the aim of reducing the risks of communicable and non-communicable diseases, and achieving the institution's aspirations and endeavors towards enhancing the quality of healthy life.
